Friday evening 1/27/12, while reading at the CuttingEdge.org site, I stumbled upon this WALNUT headline & terrible news… More pathetic, ridiculous hassles from the bureaucrats re our food:

A week after pondering the threats of “spilled milk,” I read an article titled the “The FDA claims walnuts are drugs.” I had just come home from our supermarket with two bags of shelled walnuts packaged by Diamond of California. They were on sale, and I can see why. Our Washington bureaucrats at the Food and Drug Administration [FDA] had warned Diamond and sixteen other food companies that their product labels violate the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Here’s their main point:

“…because of these intended uses [enjoying the nuts and seeking the health benefits of the Omega-3 fats in walnuts], your walnut products are drugs… Therefore…they may not be legally marketed with the above claims in the United States without an approved new drug application.”[2]

The producers had 15 days to reply. What kinds of hurdles must they face to stay in business?

But, Walnuts of all things!

What is so weird is that sometime before waking up yesterday, Thursday, 1/26/12, I had a short dream about walnuts! (first time ever!). Basically it was someone (my mother, I think) showing me photos of two different siblings. First she said something like, “Jane (my older sister) is dressed like a walnut in this picture (for whatever occasion).” I didn’t see any walnut shape, only that the garb was peach in color, which made no sense, so I said nothing. Then she says, “And John (eldest brother in age right under me) dressed like a walnut in this other picture” (again, I saw no walnut costume, only the color peach). And that was that. Totally weird dream … Walnuts???

Peach is one of my favorite colors but I haven’t thought of it in awhile since I don’t have anything around me these days in that color. And walnuts are not peachy!

Walnuts I have in the freezer but haven’t eaten any lately nor thought about them.

My first thought was, “Walnuts are known for being ‘hard to crack.’” So maybe this means these two siblings will be the hardest to get saved(?)

Then I remembered a chat with Mom from several weeks ago when I asked her, “Who in the family will know what to do if/when y’all pass on?” (parents are in their 80′s now). “Have you designated someone to be in charge or will it be chaos?” (I assumed Mom had designated this same “walnut” sister, she being the oldest.) Mom replied that, no, she had not really designated anybody but she does have a folder with all their info in it, credit cards, etc., & that she has shown those two “walnut” siblings where it is.

Lol, “walnut” siblings, of all things! But that must be where the dream came from since it is the same two (out of six total) siblings. Funny how our brains regurgitate info weeks later totally scrambled & disguised in dream symbols. Then tonight I see an old news headline re Walnuts! (totally unrelated to my dream, though, but it did remind me I wanted to write all this down!)

I admit to dreading the chaos if our folks were to die because it has always felt to me that nobody in the family has ever known what’s going on, everybody is clueless, flighty, unaware, scatter-brains, disjointed, disconnected, etc. None are “mature Christian people,” if saved at all (doubtful… though some “think” they are). Bottom Line: I have never “felt safe” in this family, period, & I suppose that is the underlying emotion behind the dream: Will the two “walnuts” be hard-headed problems should the folks ever die?

During that same chat with Mom a few weeks back, I also asked had they planned out their funerals? who would they want to speak? where would they want it? etc., even down to what songs they might want sung? etc. I asked because if they don’t leave specific instructions & preferences, this is where the chaos would enter in. Nobody would know what to do (oh, I would know what to do, but being the only “Biblical Christian” in the clan, the others would likely reject any ideas I had). And, no, Mom said they have not planned anything though they think about it sometime.

I then proceeded to tell Mom MY plans should I die FIRST (since people with M.E. tend to die young, late 50′s, early 60′s, etc., virally-induced heart failure, etc. There’s a Memorial site online with a list of people who have died from M.E./CFIDS; & I have outlived a friend with the same condition who died at age 57-1/2 in 2004).

I’m NOT PLANNING on dying, NO!, but one never knows when & I don’t want my work going to waste, is what I said to Mom (none of the immediate family clan would have a clue about my work since none of them are the least bit interested in Christianity, End Times, the NWO, etc.)

I also told her I didn’t want an autopsy, nor embalming, nor cremation, nor an “open casket” at any funeral, etc. I said, “Tell them I’m Jewish if you have to so I can be buried within 24 hours,” & that Walmart sells inexpensive caskets. :)

Just as I was telling her my “death” plans, the once-per-week scripture text message popped up on my iphone, so I grabbed it to take a look, & this, amazingly, is what it said:

Ha! I gasped out loud at the wondrous TIMING & CONTENT & exclaimed, “WELL, OK, THEN! LIVE IT IS!” :D

Mom’s like, “What, What??” So I showed her the phone & read the “perfect timing” text message that just arrived in the midst of our “death” conversation, lol. It was too good. (I took it as a hint from the Lord to “not be talking about dying because you are not done yet!” Amen to that!)

So go enjoy a handful of gorgeous peachy-keen walnuts (before the Feds outlaw them)!

(I love that one! It’s true! Back then no Scriptures had been penned yet — Moses later penned the first five books of the Bible. In modern times God “speaks to us through His Son” & through His Word & through the Holy Spirit. In certain “time sensitive” situations, where immediate action is needed, God can still speak to our minds. I have heard Him twice like that, 23 years apart, both were “urgent” situations & both instances were brief “instructions” to “take immediate action.” Truly, His voice is like a TRUMPET!)

Ahhh, the interesting little jewels & colorful expressions my ears pick up from the Scourby KJV DVD Bible while going to sleep, waking up, or half-snoozing in between. I hear them often but if I don’t write them down I forget!

So here’s one such expressive description I heard the other day while snoozing that really tickled me…

“D-O-U-B-L-E
DESTRUCTION!”

Whoa! I didn’t recall hearing/reading that one before. Lol, not just “normal” destruction but DOUBLE the dose! Ha! No one can accuse the Holy Spirit & the Bible writers of lacking “creative writing skills”!

Turns out it was Jeremiah doing the speaking re those rebellious fellow Jews that would not listen to his warning messages from the LORD & who were persecuting him. It’s at Jeremiah 17:18 to be exact:

Jeremiah was definitely not having a good day! I love his DOUBLE DESTRUCTION expression! Next time I’m having a bad day I’m going to borrow his verse & direct it toward the Devil!

We often see the “rich men hoarding up riches” verse in James used, but here’s another good one for the “evil elite money masters” from the same Jeremiah 17 chapter:

11 “As the partridge SITTETH on EGGS, and HATCHETH THEM NOT; so he that GETTETH RICHES and NOT by right, shall LEAVE THEM in the midst of his days, and at his END shall be a FOOL.”

More good advice from Jeremiah 17 for our times & especially this, another election year 2012:

While the Bible does teach about the bride of the Lamb, I would have to agree with the Baptist Briders in that I am not the bride, and neither are they.

The covenant marriage language is reserved throughout the Bible to refer to Israel and Jerusalem. The relationship for the saints of this dispensation is that of members of Christ’s body, not as a covenanted wife.

Follow this study through the prophets as God espoused, married, divorced, and promised a future marriage to faithful Israel. Find out the crucial difference between the marriage language for Israel and the great mystery about the church and Christ.

AN ANALYSIS OF OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST

“For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. “ – Isaiah 54:5

1. A Widely Accepted Doctrine:
•a. The marriage supper of the Lamb – Revelation 19:6-11, Rev 21:2
•b. “Bride of Christ” – the phrase is not in the Bible, but the idea is there.
•c. Most every denomination and church makes itself the bride of Christ.
•d. Consequences: 1) “married to Jesus” 2) usurps covenant promises 3) diminishes our position
•e. Agreement with the (Old Landmark) Baptist Briders: I’m not the Bride, but neither are they.

2. A Dispensational Problem:
•a. It results from a failure to rightly divide: covenant / cross, Israel / you, prophecy / mystery
•b. They think Revelation describes us in the headlines – Gal 2:9, Rev 1:6
•c. Matt-John are missing the mystery of Christ and the gospel! John 3:29, 4:22, 5:29

3. Marriage as a Metaphor:
•a. Created things are used to describe God and our relationship with him (tree, dove, fire)
•b. I am not a woman, God is not my boyfriend, or husband substitute (nuns)
•c. Marriage = the act of uniting a man and a woman; legal and spiritual contract
•d. The first marriage in Gen 2:23-25

4. God’s Marriage to Israel:
•a. God made a covenant and a promise to Israel – Gen 22:16, Exo 19:5-6, Eze 16:8, 15, 32, 60
•b. God married himself to Israel with the covenants – Jer 2:2-5, 31:31-32
•c. Israel was unfaithful to the covenant and God divorced – Jer 3:8-14, 20-22
•d. A promise of restoration after the divorce – Hos 1:9, 2:2, 5-8, 11-12, 18-23
•e. No rest until Jerusalem is established over all the earth – Isaiah 62:4, 7, 11
•f. God is faithful to keep his covenant with Israel – Isa 54:4-10, 12-14
•g. The re-marriage is complete in the kingdom come: the bride is the city – Rev 21:2, 9-21
•h. Jesus came preaching the coming kingdom: be ready, prepare… Mat 9:15, Mat 25:1-10

5. Our Position as Members of his Body:
•a. First, we had no covenants (no marriage, espousal, divorce) given to us – Eph 2:12
•b. God was not obligated to us for a city or earthly dominion, but now there is a mystery…
•c. The mystery is about Christ and the church being made one – Eph 5:30-32 •d. The “one body” is a dispensation of grace doctrine – Eph 2:15-16, 3:6, 4:4-6
•e. We are made one by the cross not a covenant, we are dead to the law – Rom 6:3-4, 7:4
•f. We are not a bride waiting for marriage, but members of his own body by the cross
•g. Israel is waiting for their promise fulfillment, we have a present possession

So! Do you want to be a (currently divorced) “Bride”
–OR–
a part of Christ’s OWN “Body”?

I’ll take the latter, even if I am just His “little toe.” If His little toe gets bumped, battered, or bruised, He isn’t going to curse, cut off or divorce His own toe (but, instead, the thing that bumped it!) & will bandage, nurture & soothe His little toe! :)

There is a difference between knowing and teaching. Jesus KNEW all things, but he did not TEACH all things. The mystery (of the finished work of the cross that came later) was kept secret, hid in God (Jesus).

What about the places where Jesus sends his disciples to ‘all the world’, tells them to ‘believe’, and speaks of the ‘mysteries of the kingdom’?

Learn what is the “fellowship of the mystery” (Eph.3:9) and whether or not Jesus revealed it BEFORE Paul.
